About Tallahassee Pediatrics
Tallahassee Pediatrics is a medical clinic in Tallahassee, Florida. It is listed at 1205 Marion Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32303, which places it among the local businesses of Tallahassee that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Tallahassee, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Florida, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (850) 681-3887. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, tallahasseepediatrics.com.

Feel very dispointed and bullied with the clinic. It was good and thoguhtful for the my kids before the practice restructured about two years ago. However, with the new aasigned Dr. Simmons, she does not care what patient needs or what can possibly help the patient get better on body health and day to day life. She only want to get your money and done with it like bussiness instead of patient care!! This practice is not welcoming for first time parants and the family has difficalty kids

I am a first-time mom, and this office was recommended by my mother-in-law after the pediatrician I originally wanted for my son did not accept my insurance. My son has been a patient here since he was discharged from the hospital. Dr. Simmons has been wonderful, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the office itself. My son is almost three months old and recently caught his first cold. As a new mom, I was understandably nervous and wanted to make sure he was okay, so I scheduled an appointment to have him evaluated. When I pulled into the parking lot for our appointment, I received a call from the office, but the phone connection was poor and I couldnβt understand what was being said. When I went inside to check in, the receptionist informed me that they no longer accepted my insurance and that my son would not be seen until I changed insurance plans. I was completely caught off guard. If the office had stopped accepting my insurance, I believe patients should have been notified ahead of time. I asked again if they could please see my son because he was sick and this had been his pediatricianβs office since birth. Once again, I was told no. I walked out feeling overw

I had the pleasure of being kicked out of this office by Dr. Simmons after bringing my first born to this office his whole life. We have had all of his vaccine shots up to date until after year 1. They tell you that you have a choice on whether you want your child to have these vaccines but once I told Dr. Simmons I would no longer like to give vaccines any longer (due to new research I have read a LOT on MORE cases ending with autism), I was told that this practice no longer accepts any unvaccinated children and that I would no longer be welcomed back unless I changed my mind and got his vaccinations. This was all said by Dr. Simmons after she stated that my son was βextremely smart from a medical professionalβ. I would not recommend this office. I felt embarrassed and bullied into shooting metals and viruses into my child and I canβt help but feel unsafe with this practice after our visit today.

I love Tallahassee pediatrics, the care each doctor has put into my son and listening to each and every concern I have as new anxious mom. They have also helped me seek care for my postpartum depression when my obgyn didn't. The doctors, nurses and other staff are some of the best.

I have been coming to this pediatrics office ever since I was a young girl with Susan Cross my pediatrician. Over the years she has retired but Dr. Simmons, Dr.Mona and Dr.long have always taken great care of us. I have five boys and they have all been coming into the same office over the last 30 years. Remember, I also was a patient here. This is kind of like a family to us. They are great with getting back to us as it pertains to referrals and sports forms, They get us in when itβs necessary and the staff is always nice with clean facilities. I highly recommend Tallahassee pediatrics foundation.
